Dr. Dongcheng Wu has treated nine elderly patients by injecting stem cells directly into their veins. Claims 100% Success Rate
Dr. Dongcheng Wu is an expert in stem cell therapy, partnered with American stem cell company, Blue Horizon International and runs a lab in Wuhan—ground zero of the coronavirus. Dr. Wu recently had nine volunteers, mostly elderly, who were hospitalized with coronavirus pneumonia. Nearly all his volunteers had serious breathing issues because of inflammation of their lungs due to the virus.
According to the Daily Mail, Dr. Wu injected Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells (UC-MSCs) directly into the veins of his nine patients. Why inject stem cells into the human body? What do they do? Stanford Children’s Health definition of stem cells: special human cells that have the ability to develop into many different cell types, from muscle cells to brain cells. In some cases, they also have the ability to repair damaged tissues. Researchers believe that stem cell-based therapies may one day be used to treat devastating ailments like paralysis and Alzheimer’s disease.
Within days of receiving stem cell injection, Dr. Wu claims all nine volunteers made a complete recovery. DailyMailTV interview quoted Dr. Wu ‘This treatment could potentially save thousands upon thousands of lives, so naturally, we are very happy with these results.’ The doctor continues to state ‘Yes, it is a cure, but it is still very early in the process and we still have work to do. We need to finish the clinical trials to confirm whether the stem cell therapy is coronavirus pneumonia.’
It should be noted Dr. Wu and his partners at American stem cell company Blue Horizon International (BHI) specialize in stem cells derived from the umbilical cord placenta, which is widely considered to be throw away tissue in the medical community. Dr. Brian Mehling, the co-founder of BHI is working with Dr. Wu and has stated the results from medical trials are ‘astounding.’
Dr. Mehling later stated ‘But it’s not the viral load that kills them it’s the pulmonary complications that develop, just like influenza.’ The Chinese Government has fast-tracked the clinical trials for this new treatment.
