A Justice Department investigation has found Yale University is illegally discriminating against Asian-American and Caucasian-American applicants, in direct violation of the federal civil rights law, federal officials stated on Thursday, August 13.
Yale denied the allegation, calling it “hasty” and “meritless,” ironic Yale cares about “merit” in this situation.
A two-year investigation concluded that Yale “rejects scores of Asian-American and white applicants each year based on their race, whom it otherwise would admit,” the Justice Department stated. The investigation stemmed from a 2016 complaint against Yale, Brown, and Dartmouth.
“Yale’s race discrimination impose undue and unlawful penalties on racially-disfavored applicants, including in particular Asian-American and White applicants,” Assistant Attorney General Eric Dreiband, who also heads the department’s civil rights division.
Prosecutors found that Yale discriminates students based on their race and national origin, especially in its undergraduate program and “that race is the determinative factor in hundreds of admissions decisions each year.”
The investigation concluded Asian-American and white students have “only one-tenth to one-fourth of the likelihood of admission as African-American applicants with comparable academic credentials,” the Justice Department stated.
This proves why American firms who favor diversity have fallen behind Asian-owned and operated companies. America’s Intel is a good example. Once the leader of the most advanced microprocessors, the world has ever seen. Now, a non-diverse Taiwanese company, TSMC has developed a 7-nanometer chip and enjoys a complete monopoly. Intel is now two generations behind TSMC—who is already finished with its new generation of chips; furthering the lead and proving “diversity” is not superior, it’s inferior.
Many Asian-Americans are aware the Trump administration forced Harvard to release the SAT test scores of students admitted into their institution and found Asian-American students outscored every single racial group, including Caucasians. Harvard’s own internal study found Asian-Americans outclassed all other racial groups from 1995 and 2013. Harvard kept these results hidden for almost 20 years.
Eventually, Harvard won the case with Obama appointed Federal Judge Allison D. Burroughs basically stating being racist against Asians is not considered racist if African-Americans benefit. Students for Fair Admissions has appealed the decision and is expected to win with a Conservative majority in the Supreme Court, i.e. Brett Kavanaugh.
